I have enjoyed the Good News Bible since first published, but I DO NOT like this app. After my daily reading, I want a bible app that open back up where I finished reading on the last visit. This app opens with the menu and you have to tell it the Book, Chapter and Verse you want. This is a MAJOR bug!

It is a great app due to its simplicity

This bible version is easy to understand, especially for younger readers. I have a soft cover version of this bible. Its pretty beat up and marked up. I got it in grade school and it helped me immensely get through high school. Love that I could get an app of this version! Thank you!

This app is great it has the Bible scriptures, quizzes and a study guide. Its easy to understand and simple to use. With the search command you can look up specific issues that are bothering you and you need biblical guidance on.

Easy to navigate. Easy to comprehend. Great for my kids to explore. Theyre still a bit scared of the "big book". But this puts it in a medium they can grasp better.

For an individual who has little or no background in reading scripture, the GOOD NEWS BIBLE will speak a"language " they will understand. This translation does not compromise biblical truth for the sake of readability. From the Old Testament through the New Testament the God of integrity speaks clearly to its readers. This translation gets 10 out of 10!

Excellent and easy to read. I love that the whole bible is downloaded to my phone so I can read it on the plane.

I think that this app helps us not only to carry Gods word where we go but has a simple and easy way of reading and studying the bible.

I love it. I can just pull out my phone and get a quick bible verse or pull it out during service. Also it makes finding passages quick and simple. No more do I have to flip thru the pages because I have forgotten where a particular book is located. Thank you for this app

I really enjoy this app. I take my IPad to church and it makes my worship experience exciting and relevant. I have to giggle sometimes because when some people see the splash page with the juvenile icons, they think Im reading a bible for children. Heaven knows, this Bible is for kids of all ages!
